Using B1G1/B2G1 Coupons on B1G1 Sale Items

There are a lot of questions about using B1G1/B2G1 coupons right now because of the Publix sale. It can get down right confusing!

Here's a little cheat sheet I found on the Hot Coupon World forum courtesy of pennywatcher.

The following guidelines apply to true B1G1 sales at Publix. Florida Publix stores ring up this way . One item rings up full price, other item rings up $0. These guidelines will also apply to Winn Dixie store B1G1s(most WD stores ring up this way).

B1G1 sale plus one B1G1 coupon:
Buy 2 items.
Use one B1G1 coupon.
Cost $0, both are FREE.
No additional cents off coupons should be used.

B1G1 sale plus one B2G1 coupon:
Buy 4 items.
Use one B2G1 coupon.
Cost is price of price of 1 item.
In addition, you could use three cents off coupons.

B1G1 sale plus two B2G1 coupons:
Buy 6 items.
Use two B2G1 coupons.
Cost is price of 1 item.
In addition, you could use four cents off coupons.

The following applies to stores where B1G1s ring up 1/2 and 1/2. Alabama Publix locations ring up this way. B1G1 items ring up 1/2 price for first item and 1/2 price for second item.

B1G1 sale plus one B1G1 coupon:
Buy 2 items.
Use 1 B1G1 coupon.
Cost is 1/2 price of one item.
In addition, you could use one cents off coupon.

B1G1 sale plus one B2G1 coupon:
Buy 3 items.
Use 1 B2G1 coupon.
Cost is full price of one item.
In addition, you could use two cents of coupons.
