Alternative Ideas for Stockpile Items-Bagels & Taco Kits

Simple alternative recipes for bagels and taco kits-

This week at Publix bagels are .15 a bag with the Toss For Cash coupon. GREAT stock up price. But eating bagels everyday can get boring. So here is the twist-The girls are going to help me cook bagel pizzas! Sure to be a hit!

Bagel Pizzas
Bagels, split
Pizza sauce
Mozzarella cheese
Toppings(Cooked sausage, Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Olives)

Top each bagel half with 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce, then top each with your favorite pizza toppings and 1 ounce of shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or if you're in a hurry microwave each half for 1 minute until hot. Yummy!

Also, the Old El Paso taco kits are buy one, get one. Good price with the .60/2 printable coupon. I already have a pantry full of taco kits. So I bought the soft shells kits last night. I use the soft shell to make lunch wraps for the kids. They LOVE peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on a wrap--plus they aren't as messy! Save the taco seasoning for taco soup when it gets cool outside. Use the salsa packet for chips and dip!
