As some of you know, I worked for the American Cancer Society prior to moving back to Mobile. I actually had the pleasure of working in the same office as Ann. Talk about a remarkable woman!
Ann now runs a FREE summer camp called Magical Memories in Swan Valley, Idaho. Children from all over the United States who have had or presently have cancer can come to her ranch, FREE of charge, and have the time of their lives. Ann is originally from Mobile, an Auburn grad, has a heart of gold and is incredibly selfless. Hopefully if she wins, she can get more recognition which means more sponsors! Everything is FREE. They even fly the kids out there FREE of charge. Nurses and doctors take off to make sure the kids are medically taken care of. It's a wonderful, carefree week for some really sick kids.
So tonight, vote for Ann & all of the children that she is helping!
