Jalapeno Corn Recipe
Yum. This recipe comes from my mother in law's cookbook. I made the jalapeno corn last night for a pre-Thanksgiving feast and it was a big hit! So I thought a couple BB readers might like to try it and possibly add it to their Thanksgiving feast. Super easy and only a couple ingredients(some that are on sale at Publix right now!)
6 cans of White Shoepeg Corn
1 block of cream cheese
1 stick of butter
1 small can of jalapenos (will not use whole can)
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350. Melt cream cheese and butter. Drain corn. Mix corn with cream cheese and butter. Add in a couple sliced jalapenos and a little juice. More jalapenos, hotter the end result. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover with foil. Bake 30 minutes on 350.
Note: The jalapenos in the dish do get spicier after cooking.
Enjoy!
