The Charcoal Deal:
You can search the blog and see other times when I have worked this deal. This is how I stock up on meat--so I do not have to buy it every week. I usually work these deals when charcoal goes on sale...but it appears it will not go on sale during the winter. So I went with the full price and used the $2 manufacturer coupon for Kingsford from the Noche Publix booklet.
***I did this deal 3 times--so I bought 3 bags of Kingsford, 3 packs of Glad straws, 3 $6 packs of pork(or $18 total.) Using three $2 charcoal coupons and three Other White Meat coupons.
This is the information that you need to successfully do a charcoal deal yourself.
You must purchase the following three items each time you want to do this deal:
1. Kingsford Charcoal or MatchLight (13.5 lb bag or larger) The charcoal also has $1 manufacturer peelie. You can not use both the $2 clipped and the 1 peelie coupon--pick either the $1 peelie or the $2 booklet coupon since you can only use one manufacturer coupon.
2. One of the qualifying items(on the coupon)...I usually purchase GLAD straws. GLAD straws are the cheapest item at roughly $0.59.
3. $6 in pork....for each Other White Meat coupon you plan to use.

I would have skipped this week--but the pork loin($1.99/lb) pulled me in. Needed to replenish the pork in the freezer....May work this meat deal one more time. The cauliflower looks very fresh...and the grapes are fab! I plan to try the recipe in the ad for the Party Chicken with the Panko Bread Crumbs. Sounds yummy. Speaking of yummy, I purchased some Publix ice cream that I have been wanting to try...Publix mint chocolate chip hit the spot! The store had great stock tonight. And of course, some of my favorite Publix staff was working! I appreciate the fact that they walk you out to your car--especially at night.
