The Perdido Key Rotary Club's First Annual Big Lagoon WET & WILD Festival!
Saturday, September 19th, 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
at the Big Lagoon State Park.
Admission into the park is FREE for the festival.
Activities include:
- 5 mile hike – Perdido Rotary’s “Walk in the Park”
- Nature walk, wading tour, animal show & scavenger hunt led by Park Rangers
- Geo-caching hike led by FL Department of Environmental Protection
- Cast net throwing
- Fly fishing presentation
- Kayaking lesson
- Sailing lesson led by a volunteer
- Surfing, Paddle Boarding, and Skim Boarding led by Blonde Johns
- Snorkeling lesson and Scuba demonstration led by Dive Pros
- Marine animal touch tank
There will only be a charge for the carnival, food concessions, shirt sales and private rentals. So I would pack a lunch!
