1 pack of ground beef
1 Reusable Publix bag (FREE WYB 2 General Mills cereals peelie)

I used 3-$5/$25 off coupons. I qualified to use 4 but seriously did not mind paying $2.96 for all of these groceries. We are fortunate that the Publix in Fairhope allows us to use this many $5 off coupons. I understand that people could just break up their transactions into $25 purchases...But being allowed to use them all in one purchase is really nice. Almost too nice. So I am loving it while it is around! Just always make sure that your purchase amount adds up to the qualifying amount on the coupons. For example, using TWO $5 off $25 coupons, make sure that your purchase amount is $50 or greater.

I am submitting for 1 rebate out of this purchase--Tyson Skillet Meals. Hopefully, I will get back the $4.99 price...which would make all of these groceries FREE plus some!!!! :) I purchased the Accu Cheks, and quickly read over the rebate information. Since they were already FREE I am thinking that the rebate would not work....not trying that one.

Just getting started? Read PUBLIX 101 HERE!!!

what? ok, so this whole concept is new to me. a friend of mine has been talking about this sort of thing to me for a while. she added 'attention target shoppers' to my favorites and i have looked at it but it's a little confusing for me now. (single mom three young children, school just starting . . .) so i found you and here i am reading this post. it's starting to make sense! just one quick question and please don't laugh, where do you get your coupons? i always thought clipping coupons took time. a lot of time! i've tried getting coupons on line and never wanted to sign up for all the spamming sites they ask for. and never really have delved into a sunday paper. so i don't know if you have time to answer my question, but this is something i would like to 'master' as well.

I get 4 papers each Sunday(I purchase one and 3 come from friends). I do print coupons off of coupons.com, smartsource.com, hotcouponworld.com and redplum.com. All of these links are in the side bar....You have to download the coupon software to be able to print them. I have had no problems with this.
I am currently not clipping-instead I am filing whole inserts by date(8/23) and type(SS, RP, PG, etc...). That way I just go to the insert when match ups(hard work of matching coupons to sale items) are posted.
